Hayden's Frog

While we were out catching pheasants one afternoon, Hayden found this frog. He made it a little house in out backyard and everything. He didn't realize that if he left it overnight in his "house" in the flowerbed that it would be gone in the morning. Needless to say and 4 HOURS, yes you read correctly, 4 HOURS of crying later.... he finally decided not to build a house for the next one.... Talk about drama. But we enjoyed the little thing while he lasted....

Pheasant Central

We have a pheasant hunting unit on the Stefanoff Farms and can I just tell you.... MY BOYS LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! Jason had this dream about 5 years ago and it has grown to be a really fun thing for us. The boys love to help, most of the time anyway, and they are awesome little bird catchers. If the truth were known, they love it when our regular customers... like Grandpa Rex... the kids call him, pay him their $20 when he comes. But I have to say for now that the funnest part of the whole deal is watching Hayden stick his tongue out when Jason is making the birds "dizzy"so they will "sit" until the dogs find them. He is hilarious. Bracken loves to take the birds out in the field after Jason spins them and hides them. He takes great time to find the best spot. Ashton even got to help this time. THANKS JASON!!! We love helping.

Pack Meeting Halloween Costumes

We have had a few opportunities to dress up this Halloween. HEre are just soem quick pictures of Ashton and Hayden when we were off to BRacken's Pack Meeting Halloween PArty. HAYDEN LOOKED AWESOME!!!! He really got into it... as you will see he had about 5 costumes this year!!!

Hayden's first pumpkin carving

Hayden's kindgergarten teacher does the cutest things with her students. Her name is Mrs. Jensen. She sent a mini pumpkin home with each of them and had them cut it open and clean it out. They then had to count the seeds and the pick some big seeds and small seeds and glue them on a paper. Then they could carve it however they wanted. It was so fun to watch him be so particular about how it looked so he could impress her with his "skills." He is learning SO much and I am so appreciative of how much she cares about Hayden and takes the time to make him feel special.
