Tuttle's Christmas Party

We had a great time. Thanks mom and dad for this fun tradition. Little Addie didn't want to take her angel costume off after it was done. She cried when we tried!

Skinny Liz!

We went to dinner with Courtney and his girlfriend Liz the other night and while afterwards back at the hotel Bracken said "Mom, I just love that Liz. She is so fun and so nice!" I said "I know B. I like her too." Well, out of no where Hayden said..."Mom I wish you was as skinny as Liz!" I didn't know whether to laugh or cry! :) I just said "Me too Haydie!" She is a VERY talented runner and seriously is a toothpick, literally! She is much cuter than a toothpick of course! We love her dearly, and I would honestly LOVE to be that skinny too! Thanks Court and Liz for going with us to dinner. We loved seeing you! Let's do it again soon!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper for sure!
2. Real tree or Artificial? I honestly have to say Artificial! I watched a show on the Discovery Channel one year about fires that had to do with "REAL"Christmas Trees and after watching how fast the house caught fire AND BURNED TO THE GROUND I will never go back... Salt City makes a WONDERFUL "Pepperberry Wreath" candle that I LOVE for this time of year.
3. When do you put up the tree? Usually the day after THANKSGIVING... I was a little late this year.
4. When do you take the tree down? Usually right after Christmas because it's driving me crazy, but I am going to leave mine up for a while this year I am REALLY enjoying it! p.s. see pics below!
5. Do you like eggnog? Yes!
6. Do you have a stocking? We used to have stockings, but... I think they fell victum to one of the floods!
7. Hardest person to buy for? Nathan and Courtney and I have to say neighbors!
8. Easiest person to buy for? Ashton and my nieces! Pink is SOOO fun!
9. Do you have a nativity scene? I have a beautiful one that I found for a steal of a deal but am WAY too nervous to put it out with my 3 roudy boys running around!
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail. Christmas only comes once a year!
11. Most memorable Christmas gift you ever received? Honestly, Christmas took on a whole new look when I had kids. I could seriously never get a gift again as long as I lived if I could watch the faces of my boys on Christmas Morning. It's magical!
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Family Man.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually really late, but I promised myself we would be done by the 15th and NO LATER! I hate the stress of last minute shopping and WE DID IT!!! I can't believe the relief!
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? White Elephant!
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? My Grandma Tuttle's wassail! It's amazing!

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? I truly love this time of year, I just hate the shopping part, I know, go ahead and say it! What woman doesn't like to shop? Well, found one. :)
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I don't have a favorite. I love them all!
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? I love to have brunch on Christmas Day. IT'S THE BEST!
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? We have been so blessed this year...good health, GREAT FAMILY, GREAT FRIENDS and I truly hope that continues.

27. Favorite Christmas Tradition? My favorite family tradition is the Caroling we used to do. I know I used to complain about it, but I honestly miss doing it. Christmas is such a hard time for so many of the lonely widows we used to visit and I really miss their smiles and for the most part their tears. My favorite places to go were the Dobson's and the Burns'. Thanks mom and dad for giving us the chance to brighten someone else's holiday!

Bracken's funny............

The other day I stopped at Deseret Book and bought some rolls to snack on, BECAUSE WE LOVE THEM!!! Well, I got them home and Bracken said "Hey mom! Are these Lion's Den Rolls?" Kids say the funniest things...LOVE YOU B!!!!

Live Nativity...

We had the best family night ever last night. My mom invited us to come to a live Nativity that the Ashton's did last night in Fillmore. There was such a WONDERFUL spirit there. It took on a whole new meaning walking through the snow with my family thinking about the Savior. This is such a beautiful time of year and to have that experience really made me rethink, once again, what the season is truly about. I am so grateful to have the Savior in my life. I am grateful for his sacrifice for me. I hope we all take a step back at this busy time of season to think of our Savior and what he has done for each of us. Thank you so much Ashton Family for sharing this wonderful tradition with us.

Upside down Christmas Tree, WHAT?!?

Yes, you read that correctly. I have an upside down tree and I am SOOOO excited.

This tree was so fun to decorate. I had a TON of help from the lady at Harward's Sprinklers. Yes you read that correctly.... they have an AWESOME holiday decoration department. Here are some fun pictures. I may have to leave it up through January I love it so much.

WRA Christmas Party

We had a blast at my company Christmas Party. There was a HUGE turnout this year. I was so impressed with the boys and the food they all prepared. There was even a special visitor... Hayden didn't want to sit on his lap, but finally relented. Ashton wasn't too impressed either. But it was a blast! THANKS WRA for a fun night!

Natalie's Birthday

Jason took me to St. George for my birthday this year. It was such a needed break and we really had a good time. We stayed at the new Wyndam hotel down there and had SO much fun. We would recommend it to EVERYONE! We owe Brooke and Dan a HUGE thank you for taking our kids for us so we could escape. Thanks Jason for taking me! I needed a little vacation so bad! Happy Birthday to me. :)
