DON'T FEED THE ANIMALS!!!

Since our summer days are numbered we decided to take the kids, well, it again was Jason's idea, and head to the zoo. We had such a blast. It's wasn't too hot and we went first thing in the morning (thanks Brookie for the idea) so we could see a lot of the animals and see them being active instead of always sleeping.

One of our favorite things was the Bird Show. There are birds that fly right over, and I mean RIGHT OVER, hitting you in the head with their wings.



The white alligator was also fun to see. The boys didn't quite know what to think.



The rhino was eating right through the window. Is that hair on his horn?



Thanks to Uncle Nate and Chase for going with us. WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

Backyard BBQ!

While at first I have to admit that I wasn't too impressed with the idea of buying this thing . . . Jason talked me into it. We purchased a little Barbeque Pit that just sits on our cement out back. I am going to be the first one to admit that I LOVE IT!!! We have had the best time sitting out there under the beautiful summer stars, roasting hot dogs and making Smores. Can you tell which part of the smore is Ashie's favorite?

p.s. Hayden has now figured out that you can start them on fire and they burn for a long time!!

Finally a Blogger . . .

I really can't beleive that I am a blogger. I have had so much fun reading and keeping up, well getting caught up, on every one of your lives, that I thought it was time that we joined the blogging world. I once again need to thank Adrian for helping me. (I am sure you will have to continue to help me!!) We'll see how long it really takes me to get going here. THANKS AGAIN Ad.
