Since our summer days are numbered we decided to take the kids, well, it again was Jason's idea, and head to the zoo. We had such a blast. It's wasn't too hot and we went first thing in the morning (thanks Brookie for the idea) so we could see a lot of the animals and see them being active instead of always sleeping.
One of our favorite things was the Bird Show. There are birds that fly right over, and I mean RIGHT OVER, hitting you in the head with their wings.
The white alligator was also fun to see. The boys didn't quite know what to think.
The rhino was eating right through the window. Is that hair on his horn?
Thanks to Uncle Nate and Chase for going with us. WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

Nat...I'm SOO glad you have a blog now!! I'm happy I could help you get one going! & I must say it turned out pretty cute! I hope you're having a great day!! I love the pics you posted...I wish we could have made it to the zoo before my whole hospital ordeal. (We had a zoo pass from last year that expired the end of June.) We didn't get there before it expired. What a BUMMER!!! I think your fire pit looks so fun! Where did you get it from?!? Sounds like maybe I'll see you on Sunday...? Love ya, AD
