As you can see, and sorry to those of you who don't want to see, but Bracken got a nice "gash" on his foot today. He had gone with Grandpa Dennis and Daddy to set up chairs this morning and got a little injured. They were teasing him that he wasn't hurt that bad and that he was just wimping out. Well, turns out that he was hurt pretty bad and needed about 9 stitches. The Doctor told us that he has to keep them in for about 10 days and he couldn't run or rough house at all for that period of time. I don't think he's quite figured out that he isn't going to be playing in his last few football games yet. :( But he is proud that he is going to have a great scar!!
He was such a brave patient today. We sat in the ER for about an hour before the doctor even got there, apparently not a bad enough emergency to hurry??? B was in a lot of pain and the nurse finally sprayed his cut with some Lidocaine and that helped immensely. He didn't even cry when they gave him his shots to numb it. We are so glad that he's okay and hope he feels better soon. LOVE YOU B!!!!
