DOWN...SET...HIKE!!!!

B is absolutely loving football this year. He has done so, so well. It has been really fun to watch him. He is playing quarterback and wide receiver this year. I don't' know his position on defense, I'll have to ask :) Next year bring on the pads!!! I will need that Xanax by next year or maybe everyone around me will need to wear pads too. THANKS MOM!!! I inherited that from you. I don't know how you watched that many years of football. It's a good thing that I love football!!! You're doing great B! WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Bracken's Boo-Boo :(

As you can see, and sorry to those of you who don't want to see, but Bracken got a nice "gash" on his foot today. He had gone with Grandpa Dennis and Daddy to set up chairs this morning and got a little injured. They were teasing him that he wasn't hurt that bad and that he was just wimping out. Well, turns out that he was hurt pretty bad and needed about 9 stitches. The Doctor told us that he has to keep them in for about 10 days and he couldn't run or rough house at all for that period of time. I don't think he's quite figured out that he isn't going to be playing in his last few football games yet. :( But he is proud that he is going to have a great scar!!

He was such a brave patient today. We sat in the ER for about an hour before the doctor even got there, apparently not a bad enough emergency to hurry??? B was in a lot of pain and the nurse finally sprayed his cut with some Lidocaine and that helped immensely. He didn't even cry when they gave him his shots to numb it. We are so glad that he's okay and hope he feels better soon. LOVE YOU B!!!!

I guess it's time that I update everyone on the next step in our lives. This hasn't been something that I have wanted to talk about because it is been a very hard situation for me to talk about. We found out about a week ago that they were going to close the John Deere store that Jason has been the Parts Manager of here in Delta, in about 3 weeks. While it came as a HUGE surprise for us, we know that everything happens for a reason. For now, we have decided that Jason will be taking on the Nephi Parts Department as his new job. Greenline has had EVERYONE they can think of call him and tell him what an asset he is going to be over there. Even the Northwest Territory Manager of John Deere called him and told him they coulnd't survive with out him. Jason is such a hard worker and loves helping the custormers, I know that he is going to do great. They are going to provide him with a truck and a fuel card so that will be very helpful as well. GOOD LUCK JASON!!! We love you so much and thank you for all of the hard work you do for us!! I LOVE YOU!!!

CAN Draft?

I just couldn't' quite figure out what Hayden was doing here. He has opened BOTH boxes of drinks and then started stacking them all over. Finally he looked over at me and said "Which team are you going to cheer for? Pepsi or Strawberry?" I must have looked confused, probably just like you are now, and then he said "MOM, it's my football teams, Can't you tell?" What an imagination!!
